id say the best budget kit, that will bolt straight on, would be brembos from an r33/r34 skyline gtr... i got the whole kit (front and rear) for £400 from a breaker on http://www.gtr.co.uk but the average cost for the upgrade would be £600/800.

this is one of the closest setups to match the original brake balance and is also the most abs friendly upgrade.

I have sold these kits to a couple of people over the years and they were perfectly happy with them ;)

For the money they are pretty good value, designed by a Zed owner to fit exactly as they should and with all the things you would ever need too.

thanks for information, but I do not want to make upgrade from other kit brake of other car.

I now have this kit wilwood with rotor from 345mm:

As brake it is optimal, but I would want to change it with kit:

front

rotor 2 pieces from 332 or 345mm, and caliper from 6 pistons

Rear

rotor 2 pieces from 310 or 320mm, with caliper from 4 pistons !!! from parking brake stock!!!

if you know a kit similar, you can write it to me.

that one of perfect Arizona z and for my tastes, but does not have parking brake….

thanks

;)

The kit you are describing is identical to the KSport brake kits I sell.

Front: 356mm 2-piece discs with 8- pot caliper

Rear: 330mm 2-piece discs with 6-pot caliper (retains use of stock handbrake mechanism)

Cost of the kit as sold by me:

Front: £1,240.00

Rear: £990.00

Shipping cost depends on where the kits are going to.

Each kit consists of the discs, calipers, KSport brake pads and braided brake lines. You can upgrade to Ferodo DS2500 pads at an additional cost of £210.00 for the front and £97.00 for the rear.

I can also provide you with a 330mm/8-pot front kit priced at £990.00 if that would fit your wheels better.

Please let me know if I can provide any further information.

Yes, they are made by the same manufacturer and rebranded under different supplier names - Ksport and D2.

They are manufactured in korea and considered a budget brake kit. Relatively new to the market compared to the more typical expensive Big brand kits. Reputation was a bit dodgy initially with people avoiding them but they are gaining in popularity because of their price and do seem to be pretty good for the money.

Im not sure its really worth upgrading your Wilwood kit to them though.

They are kit ksport…

Front 356mm 8 piston and rear 330mm 6 piston?

fantastic! also I would want to mount kit for front and rear.

I think 8 pot calipers like that are just trying to make a statement. 6 pots ok but 8 small pots, come on lol. (look good tho) As long as you have constant feel, good modulation and no fade after long abuse then you have a good brake setup.

i couldnt agree more jimmy... but then i reckon about 90% of peeps with these massive uprated brakes barely break them into a sweat... so its kinda like a designer styling accessory... all for show imo.

Don't you guy's with big brake kits (D2, Ksport,Tarox or others) have any problems with the ABS or the brake bias??

After talking to Eric from DTA over here, he to thinks the best option for an upgrade are the GT-R34 brakes.

There for I'm looking for a set of GT-R34 brakes, if anyone knows of a set available anywhere in the UK I’ll be very interested.

I have fear front disc 356mm does not enter in wheels,

I have thought to take:

front 332mm rotor, calipers 8 piston

rear 332mm rotor, calipers 6 piston

Kit k-sport or d2

this coupling goes well
