is it normal for the digital climate control reading to re-set itself to 25 everytime the car is turned off, or is there a problem, with it doing that ??

No mate, should be whatever you left it on... Possible loose connection to battery casuing it to reset. It may also be resetting your ECU everytime too, check your clock and see if the time stays the same on that.

No, one of the fuses work the memory side of things, so its just resetting to the default temp whenever you turn off the ignition.

Sounds like a problem with the back up power supply which is the same as the radio back up supply, designed for just this reason to keep the memory going when the ignition is switched off, check the fuses in the drivers footwell in particular the bottom look for a brown 7.5amp one.

Hope that helps

I read a thread somewhere, that you can reset the air con,and do a diagnostic check, by pressing and holding the buttons on the air con !

Does you interior light work? Check the drivers footwell fuse box, bottom row furthest away fuse (10A). This fuse works the interior light, clock & memory to stereo/climate control setting.
