August 25, 200916 yr a little love required i'd say :) on the figures though why part with £45k when for a £3k deposit and @ £1k pm you can have a spanking brand new one :D
August 25, 200916 yr if you can afford an 100k car why not spend 3k repairing it and then resell it with another 20-30k on top or what he is currently asking? Suspicious id say!
August 25, 200916 yr Author the owner may have had a new for old insurance and then the company dealing with the claim may have bought the car from the insurance company then payed the owner a premium for the car which wont have cost anywhere near the 45k asking price, quick profit for someone, also the bits torepair may be too costly for the new owner to repair and make a profit but may be worth if you want to buy and keep for yourself there are a lot of reasons as to why its for sale at that price
August 25, 200916 yr tbh, i reckon that would be very hard to sell on once repaired. You can get them for 60k Cat D means nothing, but people spending 50-60k on a car are'nt going to touch one with Damage history. They would typically only buy a new car, and so would expect whatever car they buy to be as new. They depreciate so quickly. 20k+ a year in depreciation.
although it may need a good polish lol
