Strange buzzing sound??

Hi Guys, I have noticed a strange buzzing sound coming from under my car, sounds as if its under the passenger footwell?? Its on my TT auto

I`m hoping its something to do with the auto box as its been a bit tempramental the last few weeks.

The sound appears on 1 click of the ignition without the engine started.

Sound`s electrical!!!

Any help is appreciated

Daz.

Sure its not the fan in the roof between the targas? Its there to monitor the temp in the cabin so the climate control knows what to do. Next time you hear it put your ears next to the centre of the roof and see if its that.

Easy fix if so. Just expose the fan, clean it and WD40 it :)

Fuel pump engages on when Ignition is on (before starting) also could be battery ticking on (sound will be clearer coming from under car than through a metal bonnet)

I've had the same thing on mine.. it's defo electrical..sounds like a relay chattering somewhere under the centre of the car near the zorst... mine just cleared it's self tho... sorry!
