I bought a 300 zx tt, lwb uk.some time ago and before i found this website the damage was already done.see i bought the car with straight through exhaust decatt and the car had a boost controller or valve timmer same thing. anyway it had no instructions and because i wa\nted a lwb english car i traveled and after a year found one with a decent engine.anyway i drove it around and eventullay found the boost controller mounted above the pedals hidden ,so i turned it on up full and within a week had ****e up my oil seals. so this is where im at today.ive taken the engine out myself over alot of months dont get alot of me time with 21 old week and 6 and 8 year old and wether and not alot of cash.......................................heres the delemer. do i get rebuild the tub with 360 bearings and stagerd oil seals.for 350 plus vat each or do i get tubs rebuilt with 360 bearings stagered oil seals and have the compressor chamber bored out to take t 28s for an extra 100 plus the dreaded for each so 450 what do you think?

I'd just go with just the 360 barings unless your upgrading your injectors there's no point.

iirc brand new cores can be got somewhere mentioned on here for about £200 just a thought

or just buy a pair of shagged T28 Turbos send them shaft etc to be rebalanced and scrap the housing of em and put those in your Zed turbos :)

If you do this you wont be able to run alot of boost as your Injectors will be going OTT!!

Do these run a small amount of boost then when money permits some larger injectors (and ECU) and you will be laughing

where did you get those prices from?

i can rebuild your tubs with 360 bearings and step gap seals for half that price, including testing and balancing;)

OK now you have my attention these prices are from tubo something or another. All i wanted origanally was to have my tubs rebuilt to oil seal gone on one. then found i already had 360 % bearings whilts in the build also wanted step gap seals because once done didnt want to do again.x2 tubs what will or could you do?:bow:
