anyone?

Hi ya, I am not as well clued up as other guys on here. However I can tell you I have taken my plennim off a couple of times and although there is a number of pipes and bits, I found it pretty straight forward. So if you have to get it off, and like me your not adapt at that sort of thing...it can be done. As for the fuel pipe, looking at mine I think I could do it without removing it. But maybe some of the others can help you better.

all you have to do is remove the metal pipe that feeds the fuel reg and fuel damper and replace with the ss braided direct from the fuel filter and fuel return.

hope this helps

Straight forward job that takes a couple of minutes. No you dont remove plenum, the fuel pipes run above it next to the balance bar.

There is a small piece of fuel pipe that you can optionally replace that is under the throttle linkage at the front centre of the plenum, but you still dont remove the plenum if you wish to replace this piece.

Although it`s a right git to get to, just replaced mine with braided, plenum off at time and was still troublesome due to the lack of flexibility in a short piece of pipe of that nature. You can also do the pipes under the regulators, behind fuel filter and down below the battery there`s another two.

As stated above, no need to remove the plenum.

I've got a number of stainless steel braided fuel line kits left in stock with red hose finishers. The kit consists of two pre-cut lengths of stainless steel braided high pressure fuel hose and also comes with rubber-lined P-clips and a chrome hose separator. £68.00 plus £6.85 delivery (next day). Can also get chrome or blue hose finishers but will need to order them in (takes about 3~5 working days).

I had that once. Made my ass really sore. Doctor prescribed me some cream and it was sorted.
