Im sure he said it was a GTS isnt a Skyline GTS a non Turbo? He should eat that allive, perhaps something wrong with the Zed??

 

the GTT is a single and the GTR is a twin.

 

GTS skylines are slow as they are so heavy for a 2.5 and i think they also come in 2.0

 

Thing that annoys me about people and Skylines is.... "OMG OMG It's a Skyline".... "yeah and?? the Skyline in Japan is a family car, it's like a Ford escort here in a way, you get 1.4, 1.6 plus others and then the Cosworth"

 

My dad made me laugh once. "Guess what boy? i beat a Skyline in my Granada" I am guessing it was a GTS then lol. Saying that the Granada is a Cosworth but even so they arent that quick, big heavy car.

:rofl::bow: im sure there is a 2.0l skyline. cant comment on the gts or gtst but my GTR is MILES ahead of my zed but it is tuned and i havent one person that has kept with me

People often call the GTST , just GTS. He did say it was a 2.5 Turbo at the beginning of thread.

 

Despite how close in performance they look on paper, those I've driven and had a play with have always been lacking in the performance department compared to a Z.

I agree, i own a zed and the missus owns a gtst 2.5 turbo skyline and you cant compare the zed and the skyline, the zed wips its butt every time she trys to race lol and not just by a little bit either.

OK OK SKYLINE...what about the 350z

Z32 is 1580kg for a 2+2 TT

 

No idea if the Skyline figures are correct, but they are for the heavier R34 and a GTST is a R32 or R33.

It does vary between Markets (UK vs JDM) and between years, when they changed HICAS setups and introduced door bars. Plus the Auto is 20kg heavier than the Manual.

 

But 1580kg is a typical average figure for a 2+2 TT Manual.

 

The lightest TT is the Slicktop at an average 1490kg, however its weight varies depending on spec becuase it was the only TT version offered with delete options - like Manual seats, no ABS ..etc

ok newer mind to me anyway as my can weigths now exact 1500 kg..

all goes on the mods!

 

 

need to know his mods & what boost running.

 

 

 

an RS turbo could be faster than a Z,

 

tuned RS with lots of boost Vs stock Z.

Yes theres defantly a 2.0 litre skyline as i own one! sold my sed because i hated the auto box, and now hate the skyline because its slow and want another zed!! manual ones are soo expensive though!

oh yeah!! probably asking on the wrong forum but my log book on the skyline says GT-R ??????? If it is then theres sumin seriously wrong with it!! lol blooday mondeo's would give it a run for its money!!
