I bought the 45.00 one because even for the plenum off - it is more economical than buying the individual OEM gaskets.

I need a few odd gaskets for Z32 TT are these good quality gaskets in this set then Andy?

 

I thought they where to cheap to be any good.

EBAY - something for everyone - if you feel they are tooooo cheap at 48 squids - buy the same set for 250 squids ha ha lol

 

To be honest WIzz - I can't tell the difference - I am not intending to use the head gasket ;-)) but the others all look good to me. I mean the three rubber ring seals for the balance bar are 15.00 OEM, intake valve cover 18:80 for pair, throttle body 7.30 each so it's a no brainer as far as I am concerned...

 

I am not saying they are better/or equal to OEM cos I just don't know - but they are good enough for my requirements. And I would be well miffed if i PAID 250.00 FOR THE SET!!!

are the inlet to head gaskets made of steel with rubber seals or that exhaust gasket material?

Ebay gasket kits are not worth agro, if you just need a few small gaskets and can do a leak test afterwards fine but for anything major oem is the only way!

Topless matey - As I said above - I would not risk the head gasket - but for upper plenum, Camshaft covers, Throttle bodies etc - I really cant see the difference.

 

I am trying to help others without either recommending and/or slaying a supplier/retailers products - being PC is soooooooooo much fun!

I can see where you are coming from but where do you draw the line?

 

Some of the stuff you get out of ebay is pure shite and some of it is great, is it really worth scrimping on gaskets that can give you a massive boost leak and blow your engine?
