My circumstances seem to change as often as my pants (at least twice a year) and I now find myself ready to buy another 300zx :hyper::hyper:

Ideally I would be looking at S2 or later manual TT with minor tastefull upgrades only for around £4kish depending on how much I get for my current car.

My only problem is I was picked up by a mate recently in his '99 XK8 shaped convertable which had the XKR supercharger package on it. It was a mind numbingly beautiful car with 300zx matching pace and handled well considering it was an auto.

My mate is convinced for a little more (around £4750) I could get one.

I love the 300zx dearly and have had 5 now (although non have captured my heart like my blue TT - that went really well!)...

I know I should go for the TT - but that Jag was just goregeous!

What would you do?

Hey mate, I think your like me with your love affair with the 300zx. None seem to live up to the joy of your first 300??? So you buy one and like it, but its just not as good as you remembered but still fun and you sell. Then a year later your craving another one and the same happens?

Go for the jag, if it doesnt make you smile just sell it and buy a 300. :)

Hi Steve,

I've always been a Jag fan and a few years ago I looked at the XK8 as a daily driver - although not the supercharged one as they were a lot more money at the time.

I was disappointed and bought a Merc SLK instead. However the XKR supercharged is a different beast - expecially with the CATS suspension upgrade. And they are seriously fast!

But the XKR will not be cheap to run - and I'd say that buying a sub £5k XKR will be as much of a lottery as buying a £1500 Ebay ZX.........;)

Caveat Emptor!!

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Agree with this 100%, probably even more costly to be right.
