....In the hope that it may help someone else - here are a couple of pics of how I managed to extract the injectors from the rail. I tried pulling and levering and was basically going to mangle the connector. This is obviously dead easy with the rail out so....
... I simply used a couple of 30mm M6 bolts, a 10mm socket and a big vice as below.
I am not an engineer or a mechanic, so correct me if you are - but it worked great and I had all 6 out completely undamaged in about 10 mins. :dance:
