One of my last jobs to get the most out of the engine is to sort the O2 sensors out.

The ones on my UK TT Manual are shagged. Ive got a donor fully working pair, i have the correct 3/8" offset snapon O2 socket, various bars and whatever.

Took the zed out and really warmed up the tubs, to assist removal.

Starting on the passenger side as it looks most awkward,, made as much space, remove battery and loom aside

How the hell do you get to them??????

Anyone who has changed them on a TT, got any suggestions of how you did it, If JeffTT sees this, how do you do them?????????

Did mine last weekend. They came out relatively easy. Jimmer got them out, passenger side was the easiest once battery had been removed. Driver's side is more awkward.

3/8 o2 socket is no good really.half inch for drivers side.I did have to use my 3ft long snap on ratchet to shift it!! and you will have to use an o2 sensor crowfoot for the passenger side.Si,s came out quite easy but the thread damaged on the drivers side so had to undo the 32mm sized elbow insert and run a thread chaser down it.Get one if your doing them,As the threads can be poor and need a clean up.
