got a engine with turbos etc... just no plenum and coilpacks etc... bottom end gone. £300 pick up only from me2 2ae

not sure mate this is a vg30dett engine. should do i suppose. wait for the experts to come along and correct us

is the vg30det not a 12v engine where as the vg30dett is 24v?

Nah, that's the Z31 VG30ET

I think Treadmill's car has the single turbo variant of the Z32 engine, found in the Cedric, Gloria, Lima and Leopard in the early-mid 90's

Is this the Zenitani PS13 by any chance ?

If so then its gone through 3 or 4 engine revisions since being in the UK after repeatedly blowing itself up, and thats not a VG30DET bottom end, its a VG30DETT Z32 bottom end (stock I believe) but im not entirely sure if its using the stock Z32 heads or if it does have the original VG30DET heads on it.

Sounds like its a VG30DETT bottom end and heads then, I knew the previous owner that had it for a few years and sold it about 6 months ago and we supplied him the VG from a Z32 that he rebuilt it with.

It seems the people you purchased it off spent a lot of money on it (i saw the ebay advert). I'll try and find out the spec for you

You seem to have some letters missing from your keyboard!! ;)

Welcome, and best of luck with sorting this out, it sounds interesting

Not able to get in contact with the previous owners anymore, but I have Spoken to somebody who had more involvement with this car than me and he confirmed it was last fitted with a Stock VG block and heads from a Z32.

Congratulations on your first post after 4 years and 2 months :D :D :hyper:

Here's to October 2013........... ;) :duffer:

If it is a zed block they have swapped over all the bits required to get it to fit, sump, oil pickup, plenum, exhaust manifolds etc, would be interested to know what they did with all the plumbing at the rear of the block because that's where the crossover for the manifold goes.

I doubt its still the 3.2 either
