Drive`s absolutley spot on, the engine is sweet, gear change is smooth, just stunned at how good it is

 

Body work is crap, no rust at all, just scratched to hell and the lacquer is peeling off, but with some hard work ,sweat and zed passion, next year she`s gonna be a stunner!!!

 

Just drove about 80 miles today and hardly used any fuel , but can definatley tell that 2 turbo`s are missing, but hey it`s a vert, they are meant to cruise arnt they.

 

Even the Air-con works!!

sorry I`ve just replied but i`ve just returned from Burnley where i left my van in nissan car park, as i came home earlier in the vert.

 

Love it more every time i look at it!!

 

Hood is manual, 2 levers like the targa tops, a little switch behind the drivers seat and then a few levers outside and then manually pull it down, takes a bit of gettin used to but easy after a few times.

I didnt actually buy it from e-bay, I went straight to Nissan chorley where it was a part ex, It came from Devon, 1 lady owner in Uk for 3 years (i think) was in Japan before that.

To be really honest, i have never liked the darker zed`s, i`ve always thought the lighter ones looked newer and better somehow, but today things have changed, I think once it is buffed and polished, its going to look brill!! ;)

Will be a while yet mate, i have to order cards in batches so to a certain degree its out of my hands. Be patient its all happening, couple more weeks and everything will be ready.

As i said pop round any time bud, I`m in most evening from 4.30pm or give me a text, you`ve got my moby, I need someone else to drool with me as the girlfriend hates it :(, she`s in love with her new mini cooper

 

My dad had a drive last night and loves it, he came back with a massive smile on his face!!, I`m getting him insured, as he want`s to take it to the Lakes and pose, with his bald head :rofl:

 

As for anyone else in the club who wants a look or drive, just pop round anytime and have a gander, I also have a doner zed in lots of piece`s, and if anyone wants to look how they are put togehter and never seen as stripped zed, its quite interesting and makes it easier to work on when you know where everything is ;)
