Doubt it. I have never seen a off the self kit . If there was it would be on my car

You have to realise that the ONLY similarity between that one and a road going Z32 is it's silhouette!! There are absolutely no cross-over parts from one to the other!

Can't remember where I've seen an original car now, I seem to think I last saw one at Z1

would be interesting to see this one from another angle, front bumper dont look right but would be good to see how the paint job transfers

Now that's the picture I'd seen before!! :D

I'll take some close up / engine shots. I'll ask Russell if he'll let me have a poke around. Should be ok. :)

That was what I talking about the other day Si, wondered if its there permantly, or was it just for their Grand opening ?

I'll ask Russ. Not sure that it is or not. It's at the Nationals day every year. That photo was taken last year.

I wanna know how the hell steve could see anything out of that thing, look how far back he had to sit and the height of the screen and how long the bonnet is. crazy

It seems like Zairs' pic is either an early version of the IMSA racer or it's been slightly airbrushed here and there.. The rear on Si's pic seens much sharper than Zairs' for example.

Si's has more sponsors graphics on, oh and Yokohama tyres stickers but Goodyears fitted :wack:

Rear wings are different, bonnet too. Not to mention the exhaust exits differently.

That said and done I think it's gorgeous! Proper purposefull styling. Low front splitter, wide arches enabling you to bolt on wide slicks and a huge rear wing to glue down the car at high speeds!

Si, if you do see this car, just fill the bloody camera with pics and vids please :D :duffer:  I'd be interested in what kind of rear diffuser they run.

:D

300zx Race Trivia

From 1990 to 1995, Steve Millen drove the twin turbo 300ZX for Clayton Cunningham Racing.

The car dominated the IMSA in its GTO, then later GTS categories due to its newly-designed chassis and engine. Millen would rank as the #1 Factory Driver for Nissan for 7 years and earn two IMSA GTS Driving Championships and two IMSA GTS Manufacturer's Championships.

Among enthusiasts and the team themselves, the biggest triumph for the race Z32, was the victory in the 24 Hours of Daytona. In the same year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 300ZX ranked first in the GTS-1 class and 5th overall. In an attempt to level the playing field in the GTS-1 class by reducing the allowable horsepower, the IMSA declared the twin turbo VG engine ineligible.

The 1995 GTS 300ZX car would debut with the V8 Nissan VH engine at Daytona and would place first in the GTS-1 class at the 24 Hours of Sebring and Mosehead Grand Prix in Halifax.

Si, when you go over, I would be very interested if you could find out the cars dimensions if you don't mind asking? I've searched high and low and came up with bVgger all. :(

Ok cool. I'll try and take some detailed and close up shots. I'll also see if Russell has a schematic I can bring back with me.

One of the days we are all driving up to Talladega raceway in Alabama, it's a shame that won't be there!

A schematic would be more than I'd hoped for and if it's possible that would be fantastic Si. Will keep fingers crossed. :) Shots of the front and rear face on, side and at three quarter angles plus bonnet and sideskirts (the latter to show the width) would also be great but no worries at all if not chap, only if you happen to be taking some anyway... :)

No it's cool. I'll take as many as I can if it's there. :)

Awesome, thanks!!!!!!

That's exactly what I was thinking Leigh, Si= if he can get it done :D
