right im well confused as to what to try and save for my current list of suspension components are:

powertrix front upper link arms

powertrix front tension rods.

now as my z is a non turbo im confused which bushes i can/need to replace or what kit i need?

im also looking for a solution for my upper shock mount rubbers

is there an alternative for these either polyurethane or pillow ball mount options for standard shock spring setup (albeit being aftermarket shocks and springs)

Hi,

It is unfortunate that Energy Suspension no longer sell the "complete" bushing kit for the Z32. Even if they did you'd probably end up having to order a few more bushes anyway.

I'm assuming you want to polybush the entire suspension system. Going on that premise you are looking at the following bushings (taking into account your current Powertrix adjustable components at the front):

Front lower control arm bushings: £32.00

Rear lower control arm bushings: £32.00

Rear camber arm bushings (x2 sets): £30.00

Toe rod bushings (x3 sets) - NA only: £55.00

Rear differential carrier bushings: £45.00

Rear strut mount bushings: £28.00

Subframe bushings: £115.00

I would also suggest you replace the steering rack bushings with Energy suspension bushings (£25.00).

I can source all the above direct from Energy Suspension (expect upto 21 days for delivery). Delivery will be additional.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Regards,

Dan

Tein sell upper pillow mounts for standard strut type shocks.

do you need to be an expert to replace and special tools?

Most bushes will require an Industrial bushing press to remove and refit.

Replacing the subframe bushes is a very large job, requiring the complete rear subframe of the car to be removed. I would not recommend replacing them, unless in a very poor state. Instead you can get subframe spacers which do a great job of taking up any slack in the bushes.

Old thread but hey:

Are the Rear strut mount bushings the big ones that go into the rear hub and that you mount the bottom of the strut to?

If so, how much are Energy ones now? Still £28?:innocent:
