Stop the world I want to get off.

Took my 4 year old boy to the Airshow today. found a good spot and we watched a couple of F16's, Apache's etc :hyper: then went for a wander for the usual £60 burger.

Anyway lost our spot and I wanted him to get a good look at the Vulcan. being waist height he couldn't see a thing so I lifted him onto a wall which was my chest height, sat him down and had my arms around him to ensure he didn't slip.

Sorted until some fat git in a high viz comes across and tells me because of health and safety I need to get him off the wall, and points out that no one else is on it.

I point out that I don't give a rats ass if anyone else is on or not, I am responsible for the safety and well being of my son, and am more than capable of making a judgement if a situation is dangerous to his safety or not.

his next statement sums up the world we now live in......."well as long as you know if he falls off, you can't put a claim in" at this point he realised his (Authority) had run dry and took off to find a new victim.....My son stayed on the wall saw the Vulcan, had a great time and very strangely did not suffer a life threatening fall

Why do people feel the need to police everything we do, and interfere with life in general.:rant::rant:

I blame the sue culture that has come from america. People these days can't take responsibility for their own actions and always have to blame somebody else. Really p's me off.

I know, just read in the local rag some chav from North Shields who had a stand off with the law holding a knife for 2 hours is now putting in a compo claim as the copper swore at him, which apparently breaches his human rights

should have had bits of meat tied to his nuts and let starving dogs chase him half to death and eat his fookin nuts while he was barely alive

dont get me started on this........................

Now you have.

My daughter Holly is very good at atheltics, and can outrun all others in her class, at a recent school sports day, the PE teacher, told her not to try 100%, but to let the other kids have a chance..............

WTF, if she is good at things then let her do it, why should she have to back off a bit, to make the useless kids feel good, so they have a chance.

How can anyone who is at the top of their game become a world class athlete, winning is winning.

The whole country has become scared of the h&s bowlocks................

my nieces have been told by a coach at their gymnastics to not show off too much, then erica (who has competed in the olympics) sacked the coach and told my nieces to give 100% all the time and dont be bothered by (her words) nubmskull halfwits that frequent this gym

they are very good and have won gold in major tumbling and freestyle comps around the country
