Zorst Loudness question...

Another thread has just made me wonder........

As I'm having the Tubs upgraded, and I'm having divorced downpipes fitted, I'm considering fitting de-cats as well.

Now I currently have the Mongoose zorst with the twin 3" round exits either side. My question is... Would the zorst be louder with this set-up, and if so would it be a more basser sound to it?

Has anyone done the same? ie; gone from cats to de-cats with the Mongoose already fitted?

TIA

Dave

I was thinking on going with no decats pipe on ebay?

But......will it still pas an MOT?

Ok, is it not a certain date in 92 tho? If not the good, im a 92 so will be decatting at somepoint.lol!

Having your cats removed for an mot is not a failure. Not passing a cat test is.Id expect dave that the cars exhaust noise will increase a bit but it shouldnt be excessive.Joely p had that set up and it did give a nice exhaust note after that was ok through the rev range and didnt drive you nuts on long journeys.

The catalyst test is part of the MOT test for most class IV spark ignition petrol engined passenger cars with four or more wheels first used on and after 1 August 1992.

There you go, August 1992!
