Was droppin a pal off today and we got chatting about me zed, it was sat at side of road gleaming as we drove off past it, he said that it was a lovely example of one and asked if it was running good still etc , blah blah etc, any way we got a few miles farther on and a new audi a5 coupe thing with huge wheels pulled out and i said that it looked nice, he agreed but went on to say that he preferred my cars looks, and that that audi would not age as well as the zed, and i totally totally agree.......we then got on to the fact that the first time we ever saw a zed we were blown away by the looks, and could both vividly remember the time and place where we first saw one, surely not many cars can do that, especially considering its about 20 yrs ago, first one i seen was red, it was nightime, had a very short priv plate on, and accelerated away faster than id ever seen a car accelerate, i was astounded, Can anyone else remember first seeing them, it was quite special back when they were new........???

Yeah, it was a pearl yellow shortie. This was going back about 13 or 14 years ago. The car was a nearly new import and I used to see it driving around the town where I lived. Always remembered how exotic it looked. Something about it. They don't quite have that appeal now because I've had mine so long and you get used to the looks. But it does still get a huge amount of attention for what it is.

Ahhh of course tango= orange getting late doh

I had seen a few around, and admired the contours of them.

But not ever seen up close, until one day i turn up at my old bosses to do some at his house , and he had a silver Impul TT.

Took it for a drive and was instantly hooked.

Had never owned a jap car before, always been a ford or vauxhall.

I will never go back.

By far superior in the style stakes over anything else at the time and still has a massive presence.

In the Nissan showroom in Newcastle. It was a red auto and I was stuck to the window for twenty minutes. I was 16 and I swore that one day I would have that very car. And I did!. (two in fact).

When I used to play football as a kid (under 8s I think) my manager bought a brand new UK one in red. I absolutely loved it. I would push bike 3 miles just to go past his house hoping to see it outside lol. Since then its always been on my list of 'dream cars' and five years ago bought my first one, now got my fourth, I cant keep away from them... always been manuals... always been twin turbos :D

first one i saw was when i was 15 doing my paperound, it was parked up on the path and i used to walk passed it everyday and stare and i said to myself i would love to own one of them one day, and now i do, im 23 now,

first time I seen a 300zx was back in 1995 I had a factory x pack black 2.8i special capri and was at the monthly capri club meet at carrickfergus when a loud black 300zx accelerated hard away from the traffic lights we all watched it disapear into the distance never forgot that sight and in 14 years sence then only seen a handfull of 300 on the roads over hear. So glad I finally have one to pamper and enjoy, love my zed.
