I need Excel but i don't wanna pay LOL. Anyone know if i can get it for free??

Or you could download openoffice. Open Source software. it's very good and comapatable with the MS stuff. Just do a search for openoffice.org on google.... hth

You can download full version of Office (which includes excel) as a Torrent from many sites. You wont have any issues with it not being an officially purchased version.

 

ofcourse for legal reasons I aim not recommending that option, just informing you of it. ;)

I'm not keen on all the torrent business as i've always associated it with viruses etc.... Am i way off? If so what do i need to do to get myself sorted please.

You could, but it's like a virus in the files it leaves behind and it's nowhere near as powerful as Excel, especially on the VBA side.

why not use open office, has a copy of excel called calc, works basically the same. Just search open office on google machine :) Oh and its free, open source!

I use piratebay to get teh uptodate microsoft works, sure you can get it from that site, i nvolves dling torrent tho but aslogn as you have a good virus thing in you will be fine, just dl the one with the highest ratings as thats the one everyone has got.

Spyware docotor is a good thing to have also for virus and it tracks down trojans aswell.

I'll be honest since i had to wipe my lappy clean and lost everything i had i don't touch that kind of downloading anymore. I just stick to nice and simple stuff and stay as legal as possible :p

Sites like http://www.isohunt.com , have commets form users and a "thumbs up" system. Only ever download ones that have lots of positive comments and thumps up, so you know its genuine and clean.

let us know if ya still need excel Isaac , may be able to help you out with the full suite
