Murty, change the pending to 'confirmed'. The car is running the 'dogs do dahs' and I think this will be a great day. Previous was 383 bhp, it feels just fantastic since new JD chip and new clutch. It just goes !! can't wait for the rollers to confirm whats happening.:)

I will be coming but won't be rolling. Clutch appears to be slipping so theres not a lot of point until I replace it.

Mike

ho mike....

been there mate.try mine out and see what you think.nod nod wink wink.

I allready have ;-)

Really nice, loved the short throw shift as well.

Day booked and confirmed now murtie?

Phoning tomorrow mate, i dont think i will be able to get mine dyno'd as my clutch is really bad....

I think their is some confusion here. The firm i spoke too Murt was circuit motors in castle coombe. The number i sent you was for them also.Circuit have a two year old Dastek dyno and have done quite a few days for other clubs.

Was going to say... Castle motors is huge !

I would'nt say that. The forcourt area is very small, but they may have access to further parking around back.

We should probably start a list of those attending but not having a dyno run ?

I'd love to run, but I just dont know if thats a possiblity yet...so Im down for just attending atm

mike if your clutch is not up to it you can pop down with me.

Date has changed! Might come then. Not 100% sure I'll run it on the dyno.

I tell you what would be interesting...if you were to do a before and after (stock vs JD ECU and Boost increase).

We could easily swap over the ECU between runs and then turn the boost up.

Yours being a rebuilt and healthy engine should make a very nice comparison test.

Its ok to drive I think Al but might be an option. I'll keep in touch

Go for it Si..its a very nerve racking experience, but worth it when comes out a good result:)

This thread seems to have gone stale, does that mean its not happening ? :mac1:

I think Murt is busy organising a bar and barbicue ready for the throng of people. He is so thoughtful. Come on Murt, keep us informed, i.e., what time is the first car on the rollers then...............I don't mind going first. Shall I bring the Disco and 4 wheeled car trailer for any casualties.
