Its a good gesture, would be nice for them to acknowledge a response. Im sure we can get hold of a red targa from somewhere though. Better for topgear and you.

 

I dont see why they would speak to Hammond about it though, the car is not actually his. Its doubtful he had even choosen the 300zx, and certainly wouldn't of been the one to buy it.

 

It is possible they picked which cars they wanted to use, and the production team went out and found them, but its more likely the production team actually decided which cars they should get, purchased them and then either selectively or randomly handed them to each presenter for the feature.

As the maurice club have ovioulsy written in to top gear and complained and they have passed that on...so i thought they woudl do the same with our gesture.

It set my teeth on edge seeing the big fooker chuck that targa panel away :slap::slap::slap: . But then I consoled myself with the thought that maybe he only pretended , and it landed gently on soft ground just over the hillock , a foot or so below what we could actually see .

That`s my coping mechanism ! :rolleyes:

They're smashing up a perfectly gorgeous and fantastic zed.....I haven't posted here for over a year but still love these cars despite:headvswal:nono::mad: selling mine and can't stand that!!!

It was a fantastic show and loved every min.

 

I think the mods should download it and save (sticky) it under the pics section so it is never lost. just have the one section with the zx adverts in it also the 5th gear one etc :)

i got both copy's in avi , if needed would need help with getting them on the site though ,as i would'nt have a clue where to start in that respect lol

Not that great. I've seen photos of that on piston heads and it looks shabby. Both sills have had patches welded on them and someones painted the lower halfs with underseal. Mind you, what do you expect for £1500!

I think a freind of mine may have just bought that zed!

Hopefully they haven't scrapped it?I checked on the dvla website and i see that its sorn isn't due till April 2010 which makes me think it was sorn'd on April 2009 but i'm not sure how long a sorn lasts on a car??
