The first one in red looks about the best, but its not 1500. 1500 is a very small budget for a Zed. You get what you pay for TBH.

First one's a members car (Lusitano), and I don't think £1500 will do it.

From experience of looking around, anything you pick up for £1500 will need some serious work of some description. It's difficult to say without having a good look at the car, but £2500 should get you a reasonable starting point. £4-5K will get you something sorted. above that there are some stunning examples

There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on here and if you lucky they may cast an eye over for you:cool:

All autos, hence prices.

1st: Looks good (forum member's), but way out of your small little price range.

2nd: Looks awful with that shitty front bumper. Poor photos for something that's supposed to have had 'serious money spent on it'.

3rd: Tatty

4th: Tatty

5th: Looks pretty good for the price. But appears to be missing all of the front splash trays.

I'll be honest, they all look a bit rough. Be very careful as there is no such thing as a cheap Zed. Buy a bad one and it'll cost you dear.

Best to try and buy a really good one, look in the for sale section here. Forum members cars are more likely to be better looked after and cherished.

If you're after a project - fair enough.

And why is it that some people can't even be bothered to give their cars a good clean out and tidy before taking pictures for a sale ad? Puts me straight off.

What he said:)

if you have 1500 best look at something a tad smaller like an MR2 as you can have a better condition one for 1500 than a Zed!

As previously stated You get what you pay for!!

If you know what you are looking for then look at around the 2/2.5k mark for a tt, but there are a lot of sh **ers about, for the best deals look at club members as they are usally well looked after and you can see all there threads they have done about the car and problems, also no matter how far you travel all ways be willing to walk away if some thing aint right

1500 will get you a good NA, I picked up an NA for 700, with an imaculate enigine but needing work onj the shell
