Hi all

 

My Zed arrives from Japan in about a week (VERY excited) so what I need to know is what needs to be done to make it appropriate for the UK ?

 

And who can supply me with the parts/expertise I may need ?

 

The only thing I can think of is converting the speedo. Where can I get the necessary bits or can anyone recommend an expert ?

 

Anything else ? All advice very much appreciated.

You need to work in a new rear fog lamp or convert one of the rear light

then MOT, Insurance and registration

you should use optimax petrol as the japanese fuel is better than ours,

 

 

MOT or whatever required to register here

As above a higher octane fuel is advisable , optimax is obviously the pedigree choice but 97 ron , will be fine for a j-spec providing it's not been modified some even use 95 on a standard jap z ,

 

(i've always used 97/98 ron )

 

you could also consider a larger autobox oil cooler
