Rust Proofing on an Import

Does anyone know how good the rust proofing is on an import?

 

Are there ways of getting the car treated to resist rust, especially the underside?

    same as a uk one but they don't suffer from salt usage in Japan. Waxoyl injection is a good idea but I imagine its not cheap and the car has to be stripped a fairbit. You can just paint in on also but not as effective as they tend to rust from the inside out.

    wax oil can infact hold moister, there is a better one the army uses but cannot think of its name at the mo as im aa little pissed.
