Hi all,

The dreaded bay meant I was slightly misled :headvswal (to be fair the owner didn't know there was a single turbo version!) and ended up buying an ex japanese stripped out single turbo with adjustable Recaros - for not many euros at all :)

It stinks of cat pee and needs the earth strap replacing to the bulkhead - but runs fine and sounds incredible.

I'll be tearing up a track soon and wanted to know if I should look for upgrades or just run it to death as is - then get a 'proper' twin turbo to replace it.

 

what is the general opinion on the MK1?

Ideas for upgrade/improvement with track use in mind?

 

Not afraid to get dirty - rebuild my old cars as a hobby so like getting stuck in.

 

Will sort out pics asap.

All Z31 turbos are single turbo.....all Z32 turbos are twin. This site caters for the Z32 really.

 

I quite like Z31s now, never use to, but they need some slight fettling to make them look good and it's not that difficult. US guys seem to have the look sorted. Some really nice ones over there. You'll get most of the best info from either Zclub.net or 300zxclub.com

Yup a Z31. Have to admit getting that 'petrol head' tingle when I fired her up

There still very nice motor's mate!!! , i've got a fair few pics of the z31 on my pc and would love to own one, i did also have a 280zx before the z32 i have now :cool:
