I am now struggling to decide what colour to spray my Z, I was going to go for a red, purple and blue flip paint or a kandy wine red. But I aint sure any more. I also like a metallic purple.

At the moment I am open to all colours and would like to see some pics of your favourite coloured Z

My NA is pearl yellow, needs an over spray though. I am very fond of yellow, maybe Lotus norfork mustard. Thats what I sprayed my mini with

If I wanted to go for a non-Nissan colour, I'd look at Alfa's 'Nuvelo Blue'. Do a search on here for that. I posted some photos a while back.

It's a light metallic blue with a subtle gold flip in it.

There is a guy nr me with an R33 painted this colour and it looks stunning.

Sorry but that is :hurl:

Did like the candy cobalt blue though, have you got any candy purple pics??

Mine is having a full respray at this very moment as there is a couple of scratches and a few stone chips on her. It has lasted very well as it was wide arched and painted at the back end of 2001.

Each to their own but I hate pearls and flips with a passion lol so I am keeping mine the very same colour because IMHO its the best colour to have:)

Awesome dudes

No. Looks like one of those tacky key rings that Texaco or shell give away.

I still think bayside blue is the best colour for the Z32.

I know this is a Skyline, but it shows the colour off so well.

I know you want it to look different but you can't beat blood red Ferrari.Looks awesome.

Yellow is also nice.

BTW, how much is a typical re-spray? I'm tempted...

How long is a piece of string. Varies immensely! Can range from an average repaint to a complete windows out, engine out repaint. Ranging from £500 for a cheapo blowover with lots of overspray and mask lines to £5k+ for a stripdown and paint. Depends what you want doing, depends on where you get it done and depends on the state of the car and what paint you go for.
