Nissan’s new 370Z is hardly inconspicuous as standard, this latest offering will elt those with 30-odd grand in the bank stand out from the crowd even more.

Ultimate Yellow is the paint job and it signals a 370Z with everything that people expect of the 330bhp sportster along with exclusivity and “a potent visual impact that takes the 370Z’s muscular looks to new heights”, according to Nissan.

The 370Z Yellow gets design cues from the racing 370Zs from the European GT4 series. The wheels are 19in RAYS forged alloys plus there's special 370Z graphics down the car's sides.

Inside the Z gets black leather and suede, an integrated sat nav system, illuminated sill plates, special mats and a BOSE audio with eight speakers and a six-CD autochanger. Customers also get the heated seats, cruise control, speed limiter and all the other features from the 370Z GT Pack on which the special Yellow model is based.

With a six-speed manual box (a seven-speed automatic is optional), the Yellow balsts from rest to 62mph in 5.3secs and goes on to a restricted top speed of 155mph. A synchronised rev control during downchanges reminds you just how good the engine sounds – even when just trundling to the shops.

The Yellows for the UK are available from all participating Nissan dealers but definitely from all High Performance Centres where its big brother the GT-R is exclusively sold. The first cars will be available from September with prices from £31,650 (manual gears) or £33,050 (automatic).

Not made my mind up on the 370z yet. I've 'started' to have a marginal liking for the 350 now. I'm driving one across the Tennessee and Georgia in September, so we'll see and hopefully I'll get a ride in the new 370 too over there.

Seen 2 on the road here already.

I think i am leaning more towards the 370, than the 350z , not just because it's the new model though, i've sat and compared the two a few times , i like the sounds of the package above though

(apart from the side decals lol)

370z is definatly an improvement on the 350z, Im liking it.

Do not like the wheels though, in fact don't like any of the Rays 350z/370z wheel choices.

Not even these? These are stunning IMO. Although look better on a Z32 than a Z33!

Nope, not a fan, kind of plain and a bit generic yet chunky and modern but cheap looking (I know their not)

The Nismo/S-tune ones look poop. But this looks nice; nicer than the yellow one IMO (apart from the gash burnt tips on the exhausts)....and possibly the rear diffuser...needs smoothing/painting black.

Now where talking !!!! . i have now forgotten the yellow one exist's lol

God I thought long gone were the days of having the model of the car plastered over the sides of it :hurl:

Me too......

.......reminds me of the 1992 Porsche 968 Club Sport.....in the same colour:x:

Otherwise I do quite like the 370z. They look good in white; like the one I saw at the Geneva motor show

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
