i think i add to threads and create a fair few.(and am part to the occasional bun fight)

But im definatley small fry compaired to others.

Just checking others post count, im way down the league,

My question is "How the hell do some of you have such massive post counts?"

Do you just reply to any thread and give some utter bowlocks??????

I think its coming on 2 and a bit years and my post count is awful....AND I'm on here almost every night!

Means nothing Stu since 2001 I posted on here all day every day Craig once added 10,000 extra posts on my post count as at the time Timmy had the most at it was all done for a bit of a laugh.

Those extra posts were taken off about five years ago at my request when Mike Groves was the only Admin so although mine is the highest I don't have the time to come on here every day and post if I did it would be well over 30000 but I still do a lot of stuff in the background for the club.

I was thinking of turning the post count off so all are equal :cool:

When I first joined the club I used the post count as a bit of a guide, hoping that someone with a decent post count and had been with the club a few years would give me better advice.

 

I hope the post count stays and I have added another one to mine.

I've just finished my dinner, sat down and taken my left sock off and scratched my foot.

Most stuff i post is useless tbh, but alot of it is just replying to what people have to say etc.... If myself and others did'nt do that then the forum would'nt exist would it!

 

Some threads are technical and people are requesting help, some are on serious subjects that are just discussing. Other threads are just having a rant, some others are just showing off your pics etc...... At the end of the day people start a thread to get people replying etc.... So its the people that reply that keep it going - whether you post on the odd occasion or all the time, its all good IMO :)

 

Aint nowt wrong with a bit of fun and useless posting IMHO :)

Very true but IMO the people with alot of time are keeping it all ticking over for you part timers to find the time to add your 2p worth :D :rofl: :rofl:

ps. please dont remove the post count - its a subconscious reason for posting in the first place - at least for me it is! :D

If the post count was removed I do think it would stop a lot of post whoring and some people would not feel intimidated by members with large post counts who have big mouths:)

we dont get much whoring nowdays, mostly people just having a good time and enjoying the site

 

i agree with the thing mentioned earlier about getting info from people with more posts seems better than info from people with no post's

 

but whatever, just do what ya's want, i dont particulary care

I've been here a while and if you look back over the years most of the threads are repeated all the time, ie auto box failure , water leaks, what wheels, etc as most people don't use the search which is general ok but when people post a thread titles as "help me!!" doesnt help the seach function much, i generally dont post much as i do use the search function alot as its the info is still valid now as it was back then.

its only recently that iv started posting alot more hardly ever posted at all when i first joined. check in everyday now to see whats going on. still dont post as much as others but try to contribute when i can
