Both of my alarm fobs for the Zed have the rubbers perished, so after a bit of digging I've contacted a seller on eBay, who sells the same alarm as mine and states that he is a fitter of many years, to see if he knew where I could get some or even if he had any lying around!

Well he's just contacted me back and says that they arn't available on their own (not surprised as Scorpion have gone out of business) so the only way he can help me is to take a couple out of a brand new alarm box and sell me just the rubbers.... for £10 + £2 P&P = £12 in total!

Do you think that's a bit steep (as I'm sure he'll sell the alarm, with the fobs (just minus the rubbers) to some un-suspecting soul later) or is it about right? Come to think of it, does anyone know where I could get these cheaper, or has anyone got any they could sell me (preferably cheaper than £12 ;) )

i would say that was cheap. if its a rare and obsolete item it sounds like he was being quite reasonable tbh.

Yeah I see where you're both coming from, but I didn't mention the fact that he sells the full alarm for only £40! And like I say, I'm more than sure he'll still sell the remainder of the alarm for the same price ;)

Could you not open it up and replace it with like an old wrist stap off an old camera ro somthing like??

Checked on this today mate, could'nt see the scorpion one soz, only found to old gemini one's that dont have straps, sorry mate :(

what are you talking about vijay...i've always had to pay when we've been in there...!

Well if you want my advice i'd open it up and drill a small hole maybe 2mm near where the rubber goes in and just put a loop keyring on. This should be just as good
