I'm about to fit my Mocol oil cooler but when i put it in the original position it blocks air to the rad.Where else has anyone fitted it ? any pictures would be appreciated.

the standard mounting position under the nose panel is fine, providing you've not overdone it with any larger than 19row. Thats the size and location Nissan used on the UK models.

the other location sometimes used is where the SMIC's would be if you had a FMIC.

I have a 24 row mocal oil cooler in the standard position, but thats in front of a power enterprise racing rad which is massive. No cooling probs, weather it be drag, track, traffic etc. Infact i struggle to keep it warm on a gentle run on the motorway when its cold.

cheers

It's a Mocol 19 row cooler.I'm also fitting a front mount intercooler, AMS performance radiator (which is bigger than a Koyo) and i have changed to an electric fan set up and that is why i was worried about blocking air flow as i have read about problems going down this route and cars over heating

In that case, yeh, fit it to where one of the original SMIC's would of been.
