Hi all,

The Zed will be up on axle stands for a while as I now have to sort out the rusty sills problem.:( Where's the best place to support the car? I've got the stands under the rear subframe front mountings and the front engine x-member.

Any problems with this set up or any better suggestions on placement?

Thanks in advance - Andy

Dave, if you look at the link I put for the online manual, it shows the place you can put the stands and you still have access to the bolts for the subframe :)

pmsl, wait till ya get the rot out, mine looked minimal like that till i took the grinder to it, take ya time and when ya have to weld the inner arch, remove the seatbelt rear trim and crapet so as not to burn it

Thanks for the kind advice StellaZ, I want to do it myself (where possible), there's no urgency attached, so hopefully it'll be done properly. :)

best advice is "dont be afraid to chop out the crap", take ya time and rebuild it slowly, also, just cause nissan done it that way doesnt mean you have to, as long as its ridgid and done properly is all that counts
