Because they are f****g useless. The culprit should be sacked simple as that. They have a responsibility to those animals. Makes me mad

be interesting to see how this pans out as the RSPCA in recent years has moved away from protection of animals, and focused more on the prosecution of individuals.

They've had a few high profile ones as well, all deliberate in order to raise more funds.

They even tried to prosecute a police officer for putting a cat out of its misery after being knocked down, by hitting it with a shovel:wack:

absolute disgrace, you lock your work collegues in a van on the hottest day of the year and they die because of your neglect, lets hope the police/rspca have the balls to deal with this properly but i have my doubts.

Lose the jobs for that and then some I say. They work with dogs for a living...its not a mistake. Anyone who hasever had a dogs KNOWS you leave the windows open AND some water if you're gone for a while....idiots.

I am a dog lover. As sad as it is, we don't know all the facts surrounding it. Police dog handlers are professionally trained. They aren't going to lock a dog in a car in this heat on purpose or because they forget.

There must be other circumstances surrounding this. Let the IPC investigate, then when they have done that you can point the negligent or irresponsible finger at them.

to be honest, if i knew i was gona have to leave riddick in the car for a while, i wouldnt bother taking him at all, as said, they are dog lovers not just handlers, im sure there is an explanation, feel really sad for the dogs though, must have been a terrible death

i look forward to hearing the explanation as to why 2 police dogs where left to die outside a police station within walking distance of there kennels i believe! should prove to be a good excuse for someone!
