Thanks Paul, I thought someone might say that!!

I`m off to the Nurburgring with the lads later on in the year, so dont wanna be embarrased when i blow up trying to take my mates Astra diesel.

Your right though!! But i cant help looking :headvswal

Halfrauds do them with a long reach line, also Partco do them too, and are cheaper. The size is nominal, as for most cars.

Al.

Darren, Nurburgring has killed the best of cars, doing a compression test will not help, if you have a good engine now you probably won't after you have been round the ring.

Have you got uprated brakes because you will need them as well.

I agree with the brake part of this but if an engine is sound, the ring should prove any problem. I have thrashed mine around various circuits without any problems but I agree with doing a compression test. If you have some low compressions, don't take it around the ring, that would be asking for trouble especially as recovery by the circuits own people is EXPENSIVE.

Thanks Lads for your comments,

I`ve got some Big brembos getting fitted in 2 weeks with some red stuff so should be fine with them on .

Took it round `Ty Croes` in Anglesey last year and was fantastic, so fancy somethin a bit more challenging.

The compression test is for my z31 aswell, I fired her up last weekend after 8 months in storage and a bit of smoke came out, so i wanna see if she`s ok.

Drive safely , Darren. ;)
