LOL.....must have been reading my mind. I have just come back from the shops after seeing a nice CLK with some rather sweet looking 19" AMG wheels on it.

 

Always liked the CLK and they are pretty cheap now!

...unfortunate number plate though.

Its only at the top of my street the Pics do not do it justice at all.#

It really does stand out from the crowd with that kit on it.

 

I will keep watching he wants around th 3 grand mark

I think the AMG alloys are the best. They just seem to suit the merc a treat

The CLK is a nice car and I still prefer that version over the latest one. That looks a good buy to me - an ideal daily driver!!

 

They also did a 430 with a 4.3V8 and about 280bhp. I did consider buying one a few years back and found it a bit "soft" for my liking so I bought an SLK instead.

 

I have been a Merc fan ever since and as such I'm on my second SLK now; they have definately sorted their "bad patch" with build quality issues - it must have been a blip.....

Each to their own and all that - but the engine is simply disguised by the plastic covers and, unless you have a FunkySi or Steve300zx style re-trim, then the leather seats in a Merc are way better quality than those in a ZX mate (I speak from personal ownership/experience);)

 

I reckon that's more down to the quality of the photos rather than the car........

I went to view this yesterday, while I was there a bloke pulled up in a

Bently GT and gave him £3500 cash for it for his Mum.:eek::eek:
