ok so thinking of rebuilding the car. we paid 1500 quid for insurance out right a few months ago...
one plan was to cancel it and even though i will get charged for cancelling i.e fees and administration charge whatever money i do get left can go to the car rebuild fund.
looking at insurances it seems some allow you to refund money after fees and charges...
looks like diamond don't do this... where do i stand on this?
it seems there site policy says fees and charges (after the 14 day cool off) will be charged however it also is written in a way that says "no refunds whatsoever"
how would this stand? i'm presuming it would look better to have my car declared broken and in need of repair for my argument?
obviously if i have taken the car off the road to fix it myself this is my own fault and not diamonds.
but lets say i acidently  fail an MOT and ring diamond after SORNing my car... would that hold up better for an refund excuse?
any help greatly appreciated
