if your modem is a wirless one you just connect the psp through the wireless settings dead easy mate no cables needed that would be your best bet

its not a wireless box. What are those in the pic?

If i am using the ps3 online and someone wants to go on the internet on the pc does it make it slower?

Will i have to pay extra for using the ps3?

You will need a long eithernet cable from the back of your pc to the back of the ps3.

No it will not slow anything down and it is all free and you can play as much as you want :hyper:

There is now also a new program to down load for free and it is called vidzone. It is basicaly your own music video station. you can play what you want and it works like a juke box. so you can make up your own music list. and it will play all the way through to your last track

Cool yeah :hyper:

if it's not wireless get yourself some of these

They are comtrend powerline adapters. You basically plug on into a power socket near your router, then conect an ethernet cable between the 2.

Then plug another into a socket near your PS3 and again connect an ethernet cable.

it works by sending the signal through the wiring of your house, it's actually faster than a wireless conection.

Link to one on ebay below.:duffer:

i did the wireless thing with my ps3, it was ok but bacause my ps3 lives in the conservatory and the wireless box upstairs in a bedroom the signal had to pass through 2 external walls and made the signal really weak,

i bought a 30m external cat 5 cable and ran the cable along the wall on the outside of the house, the signal since using the cable has been spot on and i would reccomend this over wireless if the ps3 is going to be used lots.

i did the cable outside the house thing so i didnt have to start running wires all over the house

the ps3 online/live is free, its only on xbox 360 were you have to pay an annual subscription.
