Does anyone have an icon on their desktop that directs them straight to this site ?? I use one for E-bay, facebook, mail etc and they work great.

 

I think they are used on vista only but could be wrong.

 

If there isn`t one availabe, maybee someone could make one?? :)

I have the e-bay gadget and news feed's on when required through the gedget's bar

 

but that's not on vista thats on (xp sp3/ black edition) :cool:

It`s 2009 !! we need more gadgets !!! Our cars were well ahead of the time in the 80`s/90`s, and so should this site, bring it on :)

To the one`s who are thinking WTF are they on about, its quite simple!!

 

The gadgets are little icons on your desktop (like a shortcut) that takes you directly to a site (no searching/no typing) just a click on the icon, that could be a picture of your zed a Z symbol whatever!!

 

They have been around for ages, as i said before i have a few for Facebook,e-bay, weather, mail, radio and are so easy to download and use!!

 

M e-bay on is in real time, meaning that i can see on my small icon what is going on, like my bids,buying, feedback etc, all in a little box about 1"x 2" on my desktop

not sure what the advantage is over creating a normal shortcut on the desktop to the site. You can still create your own icon if you want with a normal shortcut.

right click on desktop > New > Shortcut > type in web address in location box > click Next.

 

If you want to change the icon, right click on shortcut > Properties > change icon.

 

That's with Windows XP though, I don't know about Vista, but would have thought it was similar.

why dont you just put this site as your homepage
