i need another car. not sure what to buy?? nothing yet but within next few months. needs to be practical (as in boot space not mpg lol) so ideally it would be an estate and i wud still like some power - not a slow diesel really.

 

i probably get kicked for saying this but i would consider sumthing like a subaru impreza, i quite like the look of the estate models. realistically budget is around 3k and age of car isn't a major factor.

 

any ideas?

IMO, get the Legacy estate (GT Twin Turbo). Much more kudos than the ultra common Impreza.

 

 

or Mitsubishi's Galant/Legnum VR-4

Nissan Stagea... (skyline estate)?

never heard of a stagera nice motor i like it lol but came across the new version, i like it more lol

Stick with Nissan, get a Stagea 2.5Ltr Turbo..........Skyline with a bit more room in the back, On Ebay at under 3K. :D

 

i have looked on ebay at the Stagea actually a few times, looks a little odd but i do like it lol. i'm not in a rush for an estate - will be sept/october time. keep the ideas coming ppl thanks. :D

Stagea looks too hearse like. Doesn't look anywhere near as sporty or aggressive as the Legnum for instance.

Old Stagea looks pants. Quite fancy the new one though.

I have just bought a Saab 9-5 HOT aero estate, its a manual, in pearl black/copper with full black leather on a 53 plate (face lift) for less than 5k ... 250 bhp too

just bought a legnum vr4 type s in mint condition with 46 thou on the clock for £ 3500 lots ans lots of car for the money and will stick to the road better than a zed....! not quite as quick though but still 260-280 bhp though

My last car was a legnum manual type s, I would definatly reccomend one, very quick and a lot rarer than a scooby, I owned a scooby wagon turbo and they do not compare speed wise, the scoobys handling in awsome and a lot more boneshaking.
