Nice one, can`t find any crystal ones on E-bay?? but Luke and Dan the man sound good

You can't get crystal clear fogs, only indicators which, IMHO, don't look nice.

err, good point! :wack:

Yup, that's what I have. De-tangoed too....why? Cause the defuser pattern matches that of the fog lights. The crystal clear indicators look out of place and just don't match.

With long nose pliers and a small pair of long nose snips and LOTS of patience! I am sure you can split the lens from the base. I tried baking a pair in the oven to soften the sealant, but it didn't work.

It's easy to do on series one indicators as the indicator unit is much bigger (as it doesn't have the running light in it). Series 2 indicators are a bit more fiddly as you don't quite have as much room. But it's doable.

Basically, pop out the indicator, remove the bulb and holder. Punch through the orange filter, then grip the end of it with the long nose pliers and start hacking at it with the long nose snips. Eventually, you'll break it all up and pull the lot out. You do chafe up the profile where the bulb holder sits, bit you never see it once the thing is refitted.

;)

the crystals sort of match the headlights though and easier than peeing about with de-yolking. I have them on mine not sure i'm 100% happy but they're not offensive.

Recently ditched my crystal clear ones and done this to a Series 2 set myself. Used the same method as Si, long nose pliers and a pair of snips to break it up.

Takes a while but as Si said it looks loads better now

Just need to find some clear-orange bulbs
