Hey guys

Is anyone one here good with car electrics - specifically immobilisers and alarms? I've got all the hardware in place already but as it turns out they were wired up in a bit of a bodge manner so on getting my rebuild and a new loom they were left unconnected (i.e. wires cut out with enough length to rewire properly).

Is there anyone that might be able to help me get these wired back in properly? I'm a bit nervous as having spent all that cash on the engine the car is now sitting there with just the central locking protecting it!!

Would appreciate any help!! Obviously I'm looking to get this done sooner rather than later....

Thanks all

Vig

Thing is you may only see actual quailty of work when things go wrong or you rip out an alarm. Make sure you ask who ever does it, how they intend to splice into looms, how they make connections (solder), will they replace broken clips etc and an idea of how long they think it will take them (any short time, you should walk away). I've only had 2 alarms done by approved installers and in my eyes they were both a joke!!! 1 I took out of a car and the other 1 (on my z) I intend to reinstall.
