Well, as my sig currently says, I can't seem to make my mind up :D

I've booked Eliza in for an MOT this coming Friday at our local MOT only station.

I wonder how I'll end up going to work later that morning, 'Happy', 'Moderately Happy' or just 'Downright Depressed!' ;)

I really don't want to let her go, but this really is the last chance

Anyway, chin-up :D as I know she'll fail, it just depends how badly ;)

Oh YES!!!!! All parts now either orded and on the way or picking up or here already! :D

Just got to sort out how I'm doing the turbos yet, but they will have to be done before the re-MOT

fantastic news, cant wait to see her back on the road! :D

...with Nick's kind offer above ( ) we can get the turbos changed over so it shouldn't be too long before she's back hopefully :D

Ther offer is always there buddy. Just need help getting the hoist over after squeezing it in the metro last time

I've never done an engine pull on a zed but i've stripped the engine bay down a couple of times so shouldn't be too bad

Do the turbos need doing for the retest or do we have a bit of time so i can get the v8 done? :D

Cheers Nick,

Yes mate they do need doing before the MOT, but then I've got to find the money for the bodywork work first anyway, so there is absolutely no rush bud, get that V8 sorted :D

Congarats Dave on the mot result not to bad !!, and as you said you was expecting a few things

good luck with Eliza mate , and hope you will be more persuaded to keep her now and get her back on the road :D

Just had my Zs MOT today and failed.

I was absolutely gutted when I saw the Mot Failure notice.

Luckily, nothing at all major, just need to adjust headlamps, being a Jap import he failed it on no rear foglamps bt didnt notice the switch on the centre console is for the fog lights and thirdly, he failed it on the number plates as theyre not the standard size.

Its not a problem but seing the Failure paperwork pi55ed me off.

Never mind, tomorrow go and order the number plates and take it back to him.

Had the Z re-tested yesterday and PASSED.

BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN.

2 more zeds re-live for another year:dance::)

A uk spec lost it on the round about 1/2 a mile down the road :(

Im back to being the only Z around here :dance:
