June 20, 200916 yr cars been down garage, and theyv had RAC diagnostic thing onit aswell. the injectors are not working, not clicking, and not getting power/earth. ive done a NA to TT conversion, kept the NA loom. using the TT ECU ive changed the connections on the front 4 injectors. the ECU is not showing any error codes. the injectors were working fine before i did the swap, as the engine is from my old car, as is the ECU. do i need a new loom? im about to give up on the car :(
July 1, 200916 yr If you can get hold of a replacement CAS, I would try that. Also, have somebody wiggle the entire loom in different places while you are trying to start it. The electric auxillery fan is'nt coming on when you turn the ignition is it ? Pull out the Fuel pump fuse (in the small fuse box by the Brake booster, its the one closest to the engine, on the end). Then try starting it again a few times, just in case it is actually getting fuel but has flooded. Its difficult for others to diagnose a fault like this over the Internet, the trouble being that its hard to know if each test is being done correctly and that the correct results are being interpreted. I think your going to have to make arrangements with a Z specialist to look over the car. Try - Ztech, Zedworld, Jimmer, SWZ ...etc Edited July 1, 200916 yr by Yowser
July 1, 200916 yr So the ECU socket / plug was OK and not broken (pins not pushed back inside the connector)? It's about the only thing I can think of that would affect 6 injectors.

July 1, 200916 yr Author thanks for the reply guys, na the aux fan is not coming on when ignition (so its not the temp sensor) im miles and miles from a Z specialist, im in soith wales. ive re-sit the ECU, i didnt check if the pins had come out tho, doubt that tho. the CAS i beleive is working, as the car has spark. Ant, il give you a txt, and try my ECU on yours. then also have a lend of your cas. but like i said, CAS & ECU was working fine before. ive tried the NA ECU and that didnt work either, unless ive shorted the injector wires when swapping the conenctions? how can i tell if i have connected the + and - to the correct terminals on the injectors?
