ive had my zed for around 2 weeks now but it hasn't had much use yet as i want to get it right before i use it too much

i decided to take off all the front hoses, turbo hoses and examine all the vac lines etc. i will also replace all the connectors as they are falling apart. i hope this will make things a little smoother.

how ever two very alarming discoveries tonight.

the wastegate actuator feed on the ns had totaly detached its self. i have only given it full boost once or twice and i dont think any damage has been done as the turbos dont smove and the plugs are intact- phew lucy escape

i thonk it ran up to about 7mmhg.

far more alarmingly i took off the throttles to give them a good clean the help the idle. just when packing up for the night i thought i would have a quick look inside the inlet manifold. sitting inside the ns manifold i found an allen key fitting from a socket set

i have no idea how long it has been in there and who left it there i assume it must have been dropped in through the balance bar hole as im sure id know if it had gone through the turbo.

i just cant belive my luck that i found it in there. can anyone beat that?
