Lots of questions about 350 and Skyline GTR calipers but couldn't find any that answer this

 

There are Brembo ones (gold/red) but there are plain black non Brembo ones, are these any use and better than stock?

I think the std zx brakes will be better than the none brembo 350Z brakes

Go for the 370 setup. MUCH cheaper.

Mitsubishi Evo Brembos are very good value. I bought a pair of fronts for £150 delivered with all shims, pins etc and they have done hardly any work. An engineer is making up adaptor plates at the moment for me. Readily available to buy on http://www.lancerregister.com/index.php

Will do, just missed out on a front and rear set with discs!

dont bother with the rear evo brembo I believe the piston is slightly smaller than the 300's standard caliper piston, fronts are good though

I've been offer R32 GTR front brakes (discs and calipers) for £100, they are 296mm discs so only 16mm bigger. Are these worth for a tempoary upgrade until I find some Brembos?

TBH i probably wouldnt bother but thats just me. Get on that site I mentioned

More Info needed Si. Has this been discussed before? Cheaper as in New from Nissan Dealer ?, as cant imagine there being any popping up on Ebay.

from evo 4 upwards I believe. Krsmayo fitted evo8 calipers and has diagram and measurements for the brackets. They are bigger than the GTR/350z setup and a lot cheaper.

Mine are off an Evo 8 but as David says from a 4/5 upwards they were the same calipers until the 9. Im using discs off a 350z that are 324mm.

Weekend after next i'll be fitting mine hopefully so if you like pop to Newport and have a look to give you some idea's.
