Anyone know? Just seemed to have vanished. Was a lot of interest, but no firm venue?? Now it's gone???

Featured Replies

Athene asked me to delete it as when she posted dates no one confirmed so there was no more organisation needed.

If someone else would like to take over the organisation of it i am more than happy to put it back. Just let me know.

Thanks,

Isaac

But there was. There were a number of posts asking for confirmation. I certainly didn't see anything firmed up. There was plenty of interest. Some 15 - 20 names. Seems a bit harsh to delete it. Might have been an idea to put up a link or PM people, because I checked back and I remember asking twice if there was any update on date and venue.

I did what was asked of me Si, simple as that mate. She was the organiser and did'nt feel there was enough interest in it to keep going.

As i said i am MORE than willing to undelete it IF there is someone else willing to take over the organisation of it.

Just let me know. If you wanna do it - no probs mate :)

How strange. There was plenty of interest. Anyway, no worries mate. I've started up a thread in the ASG region to see if anyone's up for organising one in the Somerset area. Would give a chance for the Cornwall lot and Southern lot to attent as it's a half way house almost.

Her reasoning was she posted a date and no one said anything. Which to be fair is true - i saw her post a date and all was silent, just a couple of people saying they could'nt.

Either way i don't think she has the time to carry on with the organisation of it anyway, so unless someone is willing to take it over then it won't be happening. If ANYONE wants to carry on, just say so and i will undelete immediately and just carry on with it.

Other than that, just organise a seperate one Si - and all the best with it, RR days are a real good meet and you will get some good numbers :)

Cheers,

Isaac

I think maybe it took a long time to see a date that people forgot to check back at the thread. Anyway, no worries. Will see what we can come up with in the other regions. :duffer:

Okie dokes mate :)

What i said still stands tho, if anyone wants to take over the organisation of the original meet, then just say the word :)

Cheers,

Isaac
