n/a manual-i know the 300 has progressive steering but the other day i was going around a corner when the steering went really light which caught me by surprise and hast'nt gone back to it being tight and firm any ideas?

Speed sensor issue maybe? and you might have one of those kph/mph converters going faulty since your is an NA manual

Is the speedo still working? Also check power steering fluid level. The "system" must be thinking you are permanently going slow or maybe in a safety mode and giving max power steering assistance rather than none.

the speedo is fine,it has been converted from kmh to mph when it has done it in the past its gone back on its own accord

Safety mode gives minimal assistance. Very odd. Is it really really light steering?

super light dont like it feels as if back end wants to go all the time prob cause over turning steering wheel.
