Hes hardly done it any justice.Someone will get a cracking car but will be upset if they dyno it expecting the claimed 450rwhp .

Eeeeoooow, those wheels ruin it IMO. Looked FAR nicer before.

Hey there my wheels :slap:

I thought he was keeping it

I know they are and they suit yours really well. But they don't look right on that compared to how it was. Looks like his are equal width all round and don't have the dish your rears do.

Punctuation, Grammar and Spelling are crap...... what's wrong with using Spell Check? eBay even supply it on their site!

And as for claiming it's over 400rwhp, he isn't! What he has stated is....

...Now abit about the car power wise about 450ish at the wheels no dyno but im comparing it to my previous one that was dyno'd at 427 atw ...

Which means he's just guessing at it  so when the new owner comes back to him and says he's lied, he can simply say that he never stated it as such in the first place ;) a good ploy to avoid any further action!

I really like that one, looks smart in my opinion. Whats going on with the rear spoiler though? is that a custom job or a proper aftermarket one?

I didn't realise James had sold it!! Last I heard he was holding onto it.....shame as it looked stunning when he had it! Agree with Si on the wheels!

I hate that rear spoiler does not suit the car one bit. I have always thought that. now James dosnt own it i dont mind saying it

I just love almost every ebay ad for 300zx TT all claim 400bhp!!! When the ones whom have dyno results look lshite as they are posting up real results (330-350ish) so makes the Genuine ones look crap compared to the fantasy HP ones!!!

I got duped into thinking mine had 428bhp at the wheels....but I was a noob and totally fell for it. I'd like to think I know better now!

Plus Jimmer is working his magic so it should be a step up from what it was when I bought it!!

That really fvcks me off! There is me with a genuine 333hp zed and it sounds like a shitter compared to some twat with less HP than standard

what are the offsets for those wheels and are they a staggered fitment i might bid him just on the wheels for my soop as i was after some axis milano copies anyway

claimed or not its still misleading and the very mention of power figures in those regions will reel bidders in which is wrong.Im sure youd be happy with the "i never actually stated it was" explanation if you paid strong money for it which someone probably will.Yes the car has new turbos but it never got the forged pistons he mentioned which would also indicate a high power car and help back up his power estimates.

I don't think you quite got my 'tongue-in-cheek' humour there! I never said I agreed with it, maybe my comments sometimes come across a little too subtle! YES it's a shite way to advertise, but as ebay is not controlled enough, anyone going there and buying anything at all simple because someone claims something, is a bit dim (to say the least!) If someone buys a car because a seller claims it's got 100's of bhp, and it's not, well tough shite they should of checked! Rightly or wrongly, that's the way of the world we live in, the buyer must make certain him/her self in any way they can, ie; the seller could produce documentaion, or prove in some other way, if not then it should be treated as a false claim, and then it is down to the buyer to decide whether to buy it or not, but I'm sure that's just common sense!

I hope that clears up my original comment, and explains my stance?

Dave
