why does my compter slow down and sometimes stop when scrolling down a thread and i come to a post by dipone, im assuming it has sowmthing to do with the moving sig things

 

how can i sort this apart from turning sigsw off and adding him to my ignore list lol

pmsl, laptop, and i have been looking, just there is so much choice, prob full of spyware from all the porn i watch online lol

That's why I had to have mine rebuilt by Murt. I think it was infected by a hoard of porn viruses! LOL

I can see it no probs, Alan, are your looking at it after a few stellas, as when i look on here after getting a kicking from Mr stella and his cousin Artois, all the the threads seem funny, and i type loads of shite............:bow:

If you want the problem resolving then get some proper rules set up on the server to stop the ridiculous size images being allowed in sigs.

Been saying this for years LOL

 

Only way otherwise is to turn off all sigs which is a shame but speeds everything up and makes the forum easier to read.

Maybe it's you with your head up your arse cos last time I mentioned this I got told I was being boring and to stop moaning :rofl:

chris, stop moaning your boring lol, si is ok, dipone its fine, i dont mind, juust wanted to know why my laptop was doing it thats all

try a program called window washer removes all the crap that gets stored witch slow pc right down u can get it off mininova bud

The problem is the size of images being put in signatures, simple as that! :D

Found a solution:

 

Use firefox instead of internet explorer then when the page loads hit the esc key and this stops all animated gifs.

 

TA-DA no more animation slowing you down! :hyper:
