Wanted - UK Air Con display - Steering wheel

I have an Janpanese import. None Turbo...

First I want to change the Air con display to the UK version, If this can be done, And I want to put the original steering wheel back... I'm a new owner and any pointers to cheap parts and help would be much appreciated... Kyle

Hi Kyle,

Welcome to the Z club mate! Best choice you'll ever make is to own a Zed. I've got a '90 Twin Turbo Jap Import automatic (Silver) and have been over the moon ever since I got it 5 months ago.

I'm not sure about changing the aircon display to a UK style one but as for cheap parts I can suggest that you look at breakers. Intapart (in Daventry) is a major breaker that stocks quite a few Zeds (both Jap and UK, Turbo and N/A). You can find them on the web at http://www.intapart.com . But a word of warning: parts that come from breakers are sold "as is" and may be defective. Be very wary of what you buy and make sure there's a money back guarantee.

Other than that I'm sure you'll find a lot of people on this forum to be very helpfull if you need parts or have a problem.

Good luck with your car mate!

Wasn't aware that there was a difference between the UK and Jap spec a/c. What years is your car, the a/c did change a little between series I & II, which would be around mid-1992.
