Recently, and after a long time looking, I obtained the original Accessories brochure for the Z32. I believe it dates from around 1992 (late), as this is the Car brochure that it came with, although it does not have a date on it.

Anyway, I was thinking today how much these items would be at today exchange rate, so I've been playing with Photoshop and a currency converter.

The £ prices are converted at todays rate, but from the printed prices from '92 in the brochure (if you see what i mean?)

There's 19 pics to post, so please bear with me while I stick em up! ;)

The ONLY nice thing that Navan ever made for the Z32 was the spoiler. The shifter is putrid and the wheels look cheap.

Nice finds though Dave and they seem cheap in comparison. TBH, lot of the accessories are pretty impressive considering the age of the car. The illuminated rear 1/4 windows go for about £150 second hand!

I got the 99 spec brocure the other day :D

There are also more extras in there. Black and red recaro seats with the 300zx logo one. very nice :)

It's a nice smart brochure isn't it?

I'm on with scanning my new '92 Zed brochure next, but it's bigger than my scanner, so will be a double scan and another trip into PhotoShop land :D

a roof-rack on a supercar??? Have a laff!

To be precise, it's actually a Ski Rack ;)

Headlight = Bumper edge indication marker, ie; a parking aid!

Convertible = It's a Tonneau cover

Illuminated items = Yeah, sure £££££££££££££££ ;)

thats really interesting, thanks for sharing!

The electric mirror upgrade is bloody good value for money if you ask me!!!!

Thought they all had folding mirrors???

Jap spec ones did mate, UK didn't, unless later on they did perhaps.

Si, are you not impressed by the Mud Flaps yet? lol or are you still undecided with that one?

very interesting, thanks Dave.

Odd how they list the folding mirors as an option, but they were standard items.

and I dont get the tonneau cover bit for the vert  Is'nt a Tonneau cover something that you would put over the folded down roof ? If so, thats standard, in fact you could'nt have it any other way as its all part of the mechanism and body panels.

very interesting, thanks Dave.

LOL maybe they were 'options' that were forced upon you

I like that, looks pretty neat. What better car to arrive at the Ski resort in than your brand new Zed back in '89 with your fancy Ski's mounted on, I'd feel pretty smug. (FWIW, Ski'ing is a pretty big thing in Japan, mountainous country with a lot of snowfall, there are tonnes of Ski resorts)

I also thought they were standard, but if they were then why would they be in a Japanese accessories brochure?

The tonneau cover looks like it covers the whole interior so you can leave you roof down and not get crap in it. I don't think it would be worth while over hear but in warmer countries would be handy.

I've never seen the cream/beige leather seats before???

Tonneau cover does seem a bit of a waste of time - surely you could put the roof up in the time it takes to fit that? LOL

ahh, ok that kinda makes sense.

Only ever seen the cream interior in the Convertible.

OMG, I binned that alarm looking thing last week because i could'nt find out what brand it was, it had some wierd electronic box that made the windows go up and down, and i had one of those parking aid's on my first zed. Very cool.
